Pointillism Pictures

This term in our Click IT! lesson, the children used a graphics programme to create a Pointillism picture in the style of the artist George Seurat. George Seurat was a French artist and painter born in 1859 who used small distinct dots of colours without mixing the paint; his style of painting is called Pointillism. He thought the colours appeared more ‘brilliant’ when you looked at it. Here are some of the examples of the dotty pictures that the children made during their Click IT! lesson.
